I love this city. I’ve lived in Chicago nearly my whole life.

When I was younger, I took for granted the sights and surroundings that were always at my reach. As I’ve been traveling over the years, I have grown to appreciate what I have at home.

Whenever my family and friends would visit from out of town, they would ask me what spots to see, where to eat, and what events are happening. After numerous times of coming up with answers off the top of my head, I decided to compile my favorite places, and regularly add my new discoveries around town.

A shout-out to my cousins Christina and Michelle, my friends Julie and Adam, and my bro Steve who with me have dined at many restaurants, attended many concerts and events, and experienced the sights and sounds of downtown. They will occasionally contribute to the website as well.

The places I list are my own favorites. You may or may not agree, and that’s what makes Chicago a great city — the many different choices at our reach. But I hope you’ll enjoy my recommendations! Feel free to contact me if you find something new in this city that’s my hometown.
